Are they available in your neck of the woods now? I dont think they are available over here yet...or did you get that when sam and kyle were racing over there?

actually my mistake, he got one like mine, it was a 2009 with the 2010 green paint on it off of the blem list. I just dont see the 2010 geo taking off around here in the north east, guys are running 165mm cranks with the 2009 geo to keep the pedals off the ground and the local pro with the 2010 demo put a 1/2" longer stroke shock on his to raise it up.

Thanks, it was a really fun course, hip jumps, fun rock launches. But it was too short. run times were just under 3 minutes.

Not, it came with a DT Swiss set stock, i swap back and forth depending on the terrain, keep the skinnier tires on the DT wheelset and the fatter ones on the mavics.

I dont really have too much hanging around right now, i have 1 spare 2010 specialized with their new head design, its pretty sweet and light. I personally run the KMC X.9 chain on my demo, and i run the X.9SL on my XC bike, i just wouldnt trust a hollow pin with the higher torques you get DH racing, as i have broken a few on my XC bike.

You can also tell the 7's from the 8's because the 7's have cable guides on the downtubes for a front derailleur, where the 8's do not.

no, its a 2009 Demo 8, it was paint sample color the tried, so its a one of kind frame.

actually, you are the on mistaken....they ran the shock shuttle up to 2009, its the 2010 that has the shock mounted directly to the frame.

I think i should know, i kinda work for them.

Yup, wet, rooty and rocky here in the northeast, I tried 2.3 Specialized Clutches, but I think the Specialized Chunders are my favorite.

i cannot tell the difference in stiffness between my 40 and my new Boxxer. I think the boxxer also has a plusher ride than my 40 did. I didnt get the latest quote from you, just the last one from beyond bikes with the hadley wheels. The boxxer is butta my friend!

I weigh 175lbs without gear, and I am running a 450lbs spring on the rear, and I am running a Blue spring the '10 Boxxer Team, it came with a Red one, but i needed to go up one spring rate. I think the Blue covers the 180-210lbs range. The spring was around $30.

Pretty awesome, the boxxer is butter! It seems like have a lot more energy at the end of my run. I am still getting things dialed though, but i can tell is going to be amazing once its all dialed.
